Autour du village de Tutonchany, le documentaire se concentre sur la famille Hukachar qui abandonné la vie traditionnelle evenki basée sur l'élevage du renne. L'ironie pointe quand, dans les fêtes locales ou les documentaires télévisés, une image romantique de la culture evenki, sans aucune commune mesure avec l'implacable réalité, transforme celle-ci en folklore dérisoire. / This documentary, set near the village of Tutonchany, tells the story of the Hukachar family, who have abandoned the traditional Evenki reindeer herding lifestyle. Reality is quickly transformed to ridicule when, during local festivities or in television documentaries, a romantic depiction of the Evenki culture, one that has nothing to do with modern reality, is presented. |
