“I think that there are intermediary spaces between beings and places. In my works, I speak of opposition and complementarity's, of space-time, of solitude, of construction and of destruction.
I question the perception where another memory resides.
Above all, I attempt to reconfigure the lost and forgotten territories so as to explore this ill-defined vision of our uprootings. I retrace the painful memory of my past, through the winds of a long migration.
My works blow their wind on doubts, wanderings and the difficulties of being Aboriginal in the urban experience.
The importance for me to experiment and to retrace my people's urbanity takes root in the fact of the Malecite nation's dispersion throughout Quebec.
I am the space where I am in the soul's architecture where life after the trails seeps in. Despite myself, I live in a place of indescribable wandering, while taking on these spaces too neatly divided into parking lots and fenced-off lawns. Despite myself, I still live in the identity felt on pavements far too explored, too close to indifference, to the depths of the silence of ancient places.“
